About

We are a not-for-profit center that exists to inspire change in the child support program through innovation, collaboration, and education.

Our core values:

●We believe in the strength of people and relationships.

●We are committed to exploring new answers to problems.

●We recognize the power of institutions on families.

Our vision is a child support program that puts parents and children first. We understand the value of the child support program in assisting millions of families receive financial support for children. But we have identified problems with the program that must be addressed. We will work with programs and partners to move the program on one which:

● Is flexible and tuned to family needs.

● Incentivizes programs for family-focused services.

● Employees professionals who understand poverty and the impact of systems on people.

● Hears and respects the voices of all parents, without marginalizing and undervaluing anyone.

● Eliminates systemic harm to black and brown parents.

● Recognizes that the modern family comes in many and varied structures, each requiring services to adapt to circumstances.

● Starts with a positive, collaborative view of the parents.

We hope to propel the transition of child support services though advocacy, education, research, and innovation.
